Either way, Sunderland knew what they were gonna get with him before he signed. I'm going with player power.

Loose cannon barely begins to describe him, and as you say his behaviour yesterday was probably the final nail in his coffin.

MM isn't going to sack DJ when he trying to sell the club. Why pay out when someone else can do it. MM isn't daft. Feel sorry for the Owls. Been twice this season as a neutral and its painful.

The whole premise of him getting fired is so they improve with a new manager. Surely the toon army would have wanted him to have stayed!

I liked him, not a suafc fan by the way. The board knew what he was like and let him sign 14 players. Just seems crazy. Think it's the players that need to wake up far too much power. If that want to act like big kids but then don't want to be treated as such. Loved it when he subbed that keeper when at Swindon. Great response after.

EXACTLY.....As an NUFC fan I wanted him to stay as SAFC struggling with him as manager............personally I did not dislike the bloke unlike other managers they have had eg Steve Bruce.....
