Hi everyone, iv got a weekend away coming up at the Forest of Arden, just wanted to know what the course is like and what to expect when I get there. Some inside tips would be much appreciated! Cheers Todd

Take it as you find it really mate. Not an overly difficult course. The back 9 is better than the front and watch out for the stags! They will not move out of your way

The back 9 is the most memorable by far, the greens are usually very slick, nice finishing hole over the water, like most resorts its expensive in the bar afterwards.

Nice resort, Arden course far better than Aylesford course. Decent practise facilities and a top notch teaching pro there. Always great to see the deer roaming the course too, Does get very wet if been a lot of rain, was all but under water a few weekends ago!

not a bad resort location. The Arden is the course to play. Nice par 3 over water on the front 9 and the 18th is pretty neat. As mentioned earlier, can get wet if there has been any rain around.

Some holes on the Aylesford are right next to the motorway and are a bit on the noisy side!

Played it a couple of times. Can get quite slow at times so be prepared for a lesuirely 5 hour round. Some really nice holes. I really like the 17th

Isn't that the one with water all along the right of the green!!!

There are 2 approaching the 18th, 1 has water on the left and the other has water on the right, the final few holes are very good and allow you to remember the course more favourable as the front 9 is bland by comparison, the par 3 over water to a sloping green is also a good hole.
