Anyone watch this new SKY SCI-FI epic series?

Was looking forward to it, sounded a decent concept but it has more plot holes than swiss cheese, more cliche lines than a Steven Segal movie and more stereotypical 2 dimensional characters than Coronation street.

Uber dissapointed....maybe just me and my high expectations and standards.:whistle:


i.e Game of Thrones :thup: Spartacus :thup: and Revolution isn't bad (overtones of 'Lost' through it though)
 
Same here started watching and thought nope this isn't doing it for me!... Same with Revolution watched the first 5 episodes and struggling to buy into it still its already heading the way lost did and that was poor!

Sparctacus the first 2 series Blood & sand, then its prequal Gods of the Arena were epic, they lost there way with that though to it went out with a Wimper rather than the hurrah it arrived with.

Game of Thrones though!!! What can I say now that is by far imo the best thing about TV its just brilliant, the way they are bringing it to life from George RR Martins books is brilliant, I already can't wait for the next episode to see what happens! The stupid thing about that is i've read and am currently re-reading all the books so I know whats coming but still can't wait to see it!
 
I too am watching Goodnight Sweetheart:D I had forgotten how good it was . Also looking forward to seeing how good Hannibal is.

Yep another 1 for The Following,still got last nights to watch. Think I need to get Breaking bad box set & Homeland. Nothing comes close to Sopranos for me. Entourage is a must if you haven't seen it:thup:
 
Watched the first episode of Hannibal already, really good. Based quite closely on Manhunter rather Silence of the Lambs.

If you havent watched Banshee yet then get on it, one of the best things ive watched in ages. Right up there with game of Thrones

What's revolution like? I've tivo'd them so far but not got round to watching it! Just finished the last season of game of thrones on DVD love this so much! Not having Atlantic as we're on virgin is starting to get annoying! Saw the ads for banshee looked really good but cheesy?
 
We tried Breaking Bad but couldn't get into it, is it worth carrying on with?
Bit of a G of T fan at the minute, and saw the Vikings series that was on the History Channel, great stuff, worth a watch if you can get hold of it.
