Had a quick look at 3 woods in AG earlier, seems to be a big trend towards very shallow faced fairway woods again, are there any deeper faced ones out there or does that require buying one from a few years back? Anyone recommend anything?

RBZ 3 Wood - I had the same quandry last year. I use a Big Bertha (2014) model predominantly off the tee which is deep enough for me. JPX EZ also deep faced.

Ive just moved away from a deep faced 3 wood. Titleist FD.

While it was great off the tee I just could not launch it off the turf.

So glad I have lofted up and gone to a shallow faced F titleist wood. completely different beast for me.

Its a summer trial as a tee option for me Gary, not expecting to use it off the fairway that much. Still got the FD?

Adams XTD is a mid+ faced one that goes like a rocket! I'm certainly happy with mine!

Tour Edge Exotics EX9 is meant to be a beast too (there's one in Ebay, but maybe a bit pricey?). EX8 too - Beta is the deeper faced version.

I'll send some details tomorrow once I get exact info from it, it's in my car about 300 yards away so not tonight :D

And yes, it's a heavy stiff in it
