Well Guys the plunge has be taken !!

I posted about Help the other week with regards the fitting for new clubs who to go to what to try etc.

Well I have tried virtually every club with the exception of Okra which I struggled to get to see the local rep so I went to my local pro at a club near me who has been looking after my swing for the last 18 months on and off.

Having tried several brands and shafts etc etc Mizuno 850 JPX forged KBS shaft 2 degree flat came out on top with a close second being Callaway Apex.

Only down side as I am out in Malaysia with work it will be 3-4 weeks before I can get my hands on them, the anticipation is killing me now and I only ordered them Monday!

As a bit of feedback the Mizuno were longer for me only by a yard or two against the nearest with dispersion being better with the KBS shaft.

PS anyone says the shaft does not make a difference tried three different shafts in the Mizuno (and other branded clubs) and 4-5 yards across those shafts in distance and dispersion tightened up.

Thanks for all the previous feed back it was much appreciated.

Hit em straight .....ish

Great choice, I moved to them a few weeks ago and love them. You're quite right about the shafts. I would have gone for the KBS Tour shafts but the stats, as well as on the range, showed, for me, that the Regular Nippon 1150 shafts gave me the best distance and dispersion

Those weeks will pass quickly and you'll soon get your hands on a great and fabulous looking set of clubs - enjoy them!
