OK, I'm playing a society match at the weekend, the format is 3 clubs and a putter.

If you were involved how would you select your 3 clubs? And which clubs would you take?

Pretty much the same as Homer, 4 hybrid, 6 or 7 iron and gap wedge.

Hybrid, 6 iron and wedge. Gives you decent mix of length off the tee, a long fairway club, something to use on par 3s and something for chipping and bunker play.

My 21* hybrid, 7i and 47* wedge. I can play from all lies (in theory) and and deloft/open up for slight differences.
