After a few months humming and hawing i've finally decided to change my irons. I think I'm going to go for either the Ping S55 or the AP2 914. I hit both at the range this week. Both very nice. I currently have Ping S58's and hit them well. Any opinions from the forum from Guys that play these clubs? Cheers.

If you're getting rid of the S58's then I'm a very worthy cause to take them off your hands.

On a serious note, if you're hitting the Ping S58's well why have you decided to change them?

That's a fair point. I suppose it's that nagging feeling that there's something better out there.

I know you said that you have hit both of the clubs you are thinking of buying but have you done a comparison with your present set. The new clubs have got to give you something be it length or better distribution. otherwise it's buying for the sake of buying. IMHO

I would suggest checking loft/lie figures for each too, as they can be quite varied.
