Was planning on buying taylormade rsi 1's in the new year but have since been tempted by our club pros sale!!!

Basically if you buy anything he'll give you a voucher for 50% of the value of the product you buy(including sale items)....

He's got brand new titleist AP1's for £450 and can be custom fit at no extra cost. This in itself is a good deal.

So for £450 Id get custom fit AP1's and a voucher for £225 to use on other stuff. Can use voucher anytime in next 6 months!

I've not hit either set of irons to test so not sure I want to jump feet 1st in case I don't like but think the AP1's will sell pretty quick with this offer and I'm going up Sunday for a hit....

Any recommendations forummers?

Give the money to Rangers, I think they need it more

Amazing offer! I do wonder if the pro has really thought about it, as if he sells a few sets of irons then he will surely be out of pocket (I don't think they make a lot of money with these iron sets anymore).

Is this offer only open to members or can anyone rock up and have a dabble. The 2 sets of irons mentioned are on my wish list, and at that price I'd be willing to have a go of the ap's

thats a no brainer deal- any set, any club comes with a 50% credit? good move by the pro as cash is King and he'll make the sales and no doubt break even over a period.

whats his website as no doubt he'll be closed today?

Buy the irons. Use the voucher to buy a Galvin rain jacket. Flog on ebay. Sit back and throw notes in the air with a manic laugh. :whoo:

That's a cracking deal however you're not getting the clubs you really want...

This being the ultimate conundrum.., one one hand an absolute cracking deal but unsure it's the clubs I really want!!!

was hoping someone had them and said cracking clubs to make me feel better about buying.... But think I can remember a recent thread of a forummer being excited about getting them and instantly wanting to sell as didn't feel they suited so there lies the doubt!!!

then the rsi 1's I think I'm totally falling for the marketing job they've done on it(doesn't mean they're bad clubs) but heard mixed things- a lot of people online saying taylormade cack,

I went from 28 to 16 with Ap1s, won a board comp and summer and then winter league they are fantastic clubs.

Hows that for a recommendation :)

Some honest advice, dont fall for all the marketing in2 years time you will look at golf and its marketing in a totally different light. Have a go with the Ap1's the fact hes your pro and will custom fit you for free and gives you that voucher is an insanely good deal. Dam even if you dont get on with the clubs you could sell them on ebay and still make money!

I am a titleist fanboi and went to get fitted a while back for the ap2 714... I didnt get them because I hit a different club far far better.

my club is bellshill g.c. and . your welcome for a game as soon as the weather improves. where do you play ?

Thanks for the offer mate  And I'll deffo take you up on it come the spring (however, question was aimed at Turkish, who has since replied in a pm)

play mainly north end of liverpool, at the countries finest municipal. Well maybe not, but it meets my needs for the time being. So I'll hold off on inviting you down until I play better golf at a better golf course
