Thought he was going to win..... gutted that he lost. looked like he was out of it this morning against Els.... then looked like he was out of it this afternoon for much of the round,... was hoping he was going to sneak it but alas Jason day played some solid golf and made many crucial putts.

I went to bed after the 1st play-off hole, so have only just seen the result.

Shame for him - his back 9 was excellent and that up and down at the 19th was mental!

Some miracle shots by VicDb but there was a hell of a lot of luck too.
I noticed that when he was chipping/pitching his practice swings bore no resemblance to his actual shot...
Still, if he hasn't already qualified he is a dead cert for Gleneagles after that.

That was epic! Debuisson played some extraordinary shots in the 5 extra holes, deserved to win, but credit to Day too, he stayed strong. Loved Day's reaction when Victor played out of the cactus to within 8 foot for the second hole running...... So glad I didn't have to get up for work today, couldn't give up watching it....

He must be a certainty for the RC by now. I think he'll qualify by right with ease. Just hope he keeps the form going. Thought the short game was a bit flaky in the semi and final on relatively easy shots early on but boy were those recoveries something else

Absolutely superb performance by Victor, glued to it all day showed unbelievable character to come back to beat Els and looked like it was all over after 9 against Day, but again managed to claw his way back.Was a bit fortunate on the extra holes, but his holing out was fantastic. Fully deserves a Ryder Cup spot.Well done Victor.
