Just bought a few base layers from M & M direct at pretty good prices. Normally the skins compression tops are around £60-£70 but I picked up a white and red Skins G400 (golf specific-if you believe that stuff) thermal compression tops for £22 each and an under armour one for £12.

I will be testing one out tomorrow in the bloody cold!

I have a few Adidas base layers that I use. Skins are really good, but as you say are bleedin' expensive.

Thanks or the heads up Philly

as cheap as sports direct are i refuse to support Mike Ashley lol

I agree he's Marmite-ish, but Newcastle United would be in really dire straits (if they survived at all) without him.

His parents are really nice. I was out with them in a Duke of Edinburgh Golf Day a while ago.

Dunlop base layers are a today-only £2.99 price online at Sports Direct... great value for their normal price, so these are a bargain.

I tried one of their "compression" base layers and all I can say is that they have taken the compression bit a tad too far. I actually felt ill after an hour as it was so tight. That was a medium and I am a medium all day in EVERY other item I own.
Cheap yes, comfortable... no IMO.

I agree, they're a bit 'neat' with their sizes... I'm normally a large, but prefer XL for a bit of room in my clothes. I felt like a sausage when I tried the XL on though.

The 2XL is, however, a perfect fit for me.
