Days that make come back

After several weeks of poor golf and not even making 30 points, managed to play out of my skin on Saturday scoring 42 points. 18 on the front and 24 on the back, 1 over for the back nine. These are the sort of days that make it all worth while and keep you coming back to the course.

I had a few of those in the summer last year. Got cut like crazy!

Since then it has been all matchplay for me bar a few poor showings in stablefords.

Those days just make you itch for work to end so you can go practice/play/sit in the bar and relax

I tend to find it's the final drive of the day for me.. If i've played an absolute stinker of a round and get onto the 18th tee and smack a drive right down the middle it lifts me to the point where im itching to get back on the course.

Saying that it could go the other way and you duff the last and mope off to the car!
