My bleedin Epson Printer has stopped printing as 'it cant recognize' the ink cartridges.
Yes - I'm using compatibles, as I wont pay £55 for a set of 6 originals.
Yes - it was working with the cartrides yesterday, and all the last few months.
yes, - Ive taken them all out and installed a whole new set.
Yes - Ive turned Off & On again - about 15 times, which usually sorts the issue out whenever its happened before.
Yes - Ive wiped all the 'connections' down on both the ink cartridges and the Printer .

Yes - Ive spoken to Epson to kick off about them trying to force me to pay extortionate amounts for their own inks, but they insist its a 'hardware problem' pehaps.

BarStewards.

Help anyone - how can you bypass the cartridge recognition ??

Feckers.

Are the heads clean or are they clogged with dry ink?

Usually a wet wipe rubbed over the heads of the receiver will stop any allignment issues.

PS

Turn off the leccy before using a wipe on them please..

If the printer itself is refusing to use them ,its time for new compatibles, if its windows doing it then http://www.ink-images.co.uk/instructions/desm.pdf.
My mother inlaws R240 or whatever its called uses a specific kind of cart and even the compatibles have to be a revision 3 type to work, under the box there has to be an X stamped to shw the newer kind ffs!

Geek speak Brendy!!! :D Didn't understand a word of it mate!!! :D
