Dont get me wrong, the camera I use for teaching is very good. Small, quick starting, great slo-mo and good quality. But, it's not perfect.
2.7 screen, only 10 mp, no HDMI connectivity, standard lens size and in boring black.
Now what have E Bay just told me?
The new Casio EX ZR 200
16 mp, 3in screen, 24mm wide angle lens HDMI, and you can get it in black, blue, red and white.

And it's 5 months till my birthday :(

If someone is thinking of buying a camera, please buy this one then tell me it's rubbish ;)

have you spotted -

Another thing this model has in common with its predecessor is that it doesn't use the full width of the sensor in video mode. This results in a 5° loss from the field of view in wide-angle mode, which equates to a 28 mm equivalent rather than 24 mm in photo mode.

__

for my own use i have a go pro hd which gives me 60 FPS on video at full 1080p and i have a fully water proof case (it can be used upto 30 meters under water, so some rain is ok.

Surely 10MP for teaching is enough? Unless you want this to also double as your camera for holidays etc.

EDIT - This camera is pretty sweet for golfing -
