I've had one day of sunny golfing all season!

Any time that we've had decent golfing weather, i've been injured or on holiday. Same for this weekend; we're playing at the Montgomery course in Kinross, and it's due to team down with rain all day on Saturday - its' been arranged for ages! :(

Have i done something to annoy the golfing gods?

LMAO we're just praying for some rain here , havnt had a drop for weeks. All the grass has gone , browned off and dry as a bone , its like a dust bowl. Send some of it our way will ya.. :p

Send as much rain down here as you like. Absolutely bone dry and bare. Like hitting off the car park and actually getting tricky to make good clean hits. Its almost worth trying to play from the light rough as at least there is some grass (brown) to hit down on and take a divot

Ours is the same, only I always take divots.

The stuff I'm taking out at the moment looks like someone did it 3 weeks ago and didn't replace it!

Isn't it fun hitting from the fairways again? :D

Sure is :)

Our first cut of rough is the same though. Like playing off hay on top of concrete

We're not going on at you mate. I'd definitely rather have it like we have now than have it piddle it down every time I play. A bit of rain at night would be great.

Hope it clears up for you soon.

Went up to the club this afternoon with the intention playing but it was way too hot. Not sunny but way too humid and I found it stifling. I hit a few balls in the next and sweat was dripping. I decided on 30 minutes on the putting green, a large diet coke and home to watch the end of the Scottish Open was the better idea. Those coming off nine actually said they weren't enjoying it because of the humidity
