Went out this morning and played 9 holes with a demo d2 Kali stiff, as was struggling with the regular shaft Nike str8 - which I suspected was more the shaft rather than the club head. What can I say, everything about the d2 is amazing - automatically more confidence on the tee, the slice has been replaced with a controllable draw (was expected fade at best) and as I hit every fairway I've gained 40 yards on my drives. Would recommend it!

Also wanted to add this was my first purchase via my club pro, which was a pleasure.
Traded the average condition str8 in, online price match and picked up the d2 for £215.
A great advert for speaking to your club pro first.

I just picked up a 909 d3 second hand to see what all the fuss is about. Wowee, i can't get enough of it. It's added 15 yards easy to my drives, and i know it's heading down the middle. I actually reach for it before the 3 wood half the time i like it that much, and the 3 wood is my go to club for accuracy.

May upgrade it to a 910 d3 next year, but can't see the point in changing it at the moment. And i may add i've never like Titleist bats. Real eye opener for me to say the least

That is interesting. I've hit a lot of drivers over the years and the 909 is by far the best. I actually don't see how it could be improved. Will try and get a bash with a 910 next time i'm at the range

The one thing that peed me off the most about the Titleist drivers, wasn't because my mate bought one when I still had to play with an old Christy O'Connor Continental 1 Wood (actually made of wood) the one thing was, as a laugh I changed the settings on his club, thinking it would make his slice worse, where in effect he started driving every ball down the middle, every fricking ball, oh how I cried, with joy for him ;)

cheers
Dave
