D A Points Pebble Beach DQ

Having seen D A Points get DQ'd for using a swing aid on the tee, I wondered if he would have been DQ'd under the same rule if he had used a head cover under his arm rather than a specific swing aid?

Logic tells me that he would, but then again the rules of golf can be very strange.

I think this was discussed on here somewhere , i think the answer to your question would be NO, it could be anything so long as it wasnt a specific swing aid ..

As long as the headcover is not used in the execution of the stroke he can use it to practice. See dec 14-3/6 and 6.5
