Sci-Fi Channel are showing what has to be one of the worst & laughably so period adventure films.

Ray HarryHausen must be turning in his grave.

Romans with Austrailian accents, some of which with celtic shields. Bad & wooden acting...

Its hillarious... :DROFL

but then most of the Roman army didn't have 'Roman' accents, many didn't speak Latin.

what was it, 10% of the Roman army in Britain that were Roman?

I suppose with the exception of Gladiator,(He was an Auzi, perporting to be spanish) & that was a half decent film.

Things like Xena are filmed in Newzealand & that's half decent if a bit citch. At least most of the time they got some some things right....

Just watch Cyclops... 5 minites will probably be enough for most, its that bad. But for instance the armour they are wearing really looks plasticy... The helmets could have been gotten in a joke shop

Somehow I managed to watch Cyclops all the way through... Ray Harryhausen would really be reeling in his grave, the animation for the creature was really bad... Didn't know whether to laugh or cry really.

Give me Jason & the Argonaughts any day of the week. Again, liberties are taken with detail... But to see a Ray Harryhausen feature at its best is a must.
