went and had a custom fit today at a place in leicestershire, very good setup using flightscope..

Started off by hitting my own 6 iron and seeing what results were showing... (roughly not exact figures)

nike sumo 6 iron - carry 155, distance 168, launch angle 24, side spin -2.134, backspin 5600, swing speed 86, ball speed 100, hit about 15 - 20 balls and radius was 40 yards apart (left/right)!!

Really liked the taylormade burner 2.0, they were within my budget. Stats were..

carry 176, distance 182, launch angle 19.8, side spin -184, backspin 4500, swing speed 86, ball speed 114, hit around 15-20 balls all within radius of 15 yards!!

I need 1 inch longer, no adjustment to lie angle and also need jumbo grips

european golf at loughborough, really good setup there. Def recommend if thinking of custom fit

I don't understand how you get twice as much roll with the first club which was launched higher with more backspin, but hey ho.

Enjoy the clubs when you get them.

I got mine from there and they seem pretty knowledgeable. The only thing I was disappointed with was that I had to use different heads to try different shafts.
