Custom fit at World of Golf Glasgow

I am thinking of going to World of Golf for a custom fit for new irons, has anyone been there? Would find it helpfull for any feedback from anyone.

Any other recommendations for a custom fit in the Glasgow Edinburgh area?

i think they they are an "American Golf" outlet for fitting......

you could always try the Pro (Scott Gourlay) at Craigmillar Park CG in edinburgh - I've not been to him myself, but he makes the World top 100 for fitters and has a fabulous reputation (perhaps be more likely to be unbiased re brand) - certainly worth a phone call or at least checking out his site http://www.sggt.co.uk/

If you are looking for an AG for fitting you could go to Play Golf in EK or try Strathclyde Park Golf Centre at Hamilton next to Esporta.

Thanks for that driven 2 as ive heard nothing but bad reports about A/G i wont be going to them.I will go to Scott Gourlay he looks just what i was looking for plus my daughter lives in Edinburgh so i will have a weekend there and maybe get a game with some new clubs.

the world of golf facility in clydebank is the offical mizuno fitting centre . it has been moved from cumbernauld down to there ..taylormade has a centre in linlithgow . i think u have to book threw ur local outlet /pro . hope this helps -try the mizuno web site for info gcd

There's also a chap at Lothianburn Golf Club, Edinburgh, who gets a good name. Kurt Mungall. Has a web site for his fitting business. Worth a look.

Was at Scotts just a couple of weeks ago, he knows the business inside out with no pushy sales crap. If your after Mizuno Ping or KZG, Scott is the man. If you just want to know your stats, swing speed, how far you hit each club, carry.....you name it Scott will do it.
