Kurt92
Club Champion
Cured the Hermans and shot personal best the day after.
Within 4 days I've gone from Zero to Hero in my eyes. :fore:
I've always suffered with the occasional spat of Shermans and over the last couple of months I've been having a few in every round, obviously confidence was at a rock-bottom as I know I can do better. It starts with me drawing the ball and then before I know it I'm piping it. (Taking club too far inside?)
I played a round on Sunday on a par 67 course (Short I know), And shot a decent front 9 and fell to pieces on the back 9 after my first Sherman turned into mayhem and I must have Piped 10-15 shots on the back 9. Walked away on the 15th seriously considering succumbing to booking my first ever golf lesson.
I decided to go to the driving range and try a few things. I Went Tuesday/Wednesday and focused completely on weight placement and taking the club more outside on the takeaway. Walked off feeling much better.
Played a round today after feeling improvement and shot a personal best. I didn't sherman once. Hopefully they never come back.
Todays round : 75, 8/18 GIR, 32 putts.
Mood: Feeling pro.
Had to tell somebody, sorry!
