Well today was a new low (or high if we're talking the number of shots). Finished the front nine in 64. Didn't bother counting up the back. Blobbed half of them. Just seem to be getting worse and worse. Taking about 4-5 inches of turf about an inch deep with 60% of my shots.

Have a lesson booked for Tues so praying it will sort me out!

I think you're being unfair to digestives :D

I was like you last year, if I'd give any advice, take your time, line up against the ball, slow your breathing down, Then take another five seconds, slow your back stroke right down, and relax. It will come down I've knocked 20 strokes off my round in a year simply by taking my time.

Thanks for the advice. I'll certainly try to do that next time out.

The harder you try sometimes the more you struggle. Relax it is a common golfing theme. Let the pro sort it next week. I tend to snap like a brandy cracker going along nicely and wallop, chuck in a couple of bad holes or dodgy swings to ruin an potentially good score
