I am looking to join a Golf club, i have been looking on-line and Crown Golf seems a reasonable option, as once you join your local, you can play at many other courses FoC. I visited my local club on Sunday and i was very impressed with the course and the facilities (although i have nothing to compare it with!) I live in Essex and work in Kent so quite a few of their courses are in my radius, is it that easy just to book and play at their other courses once you are a member??

Each course has its own membership costs. I am at South Winchester, fantastic course!

I would say quite a few non crown courses up and down the country have agreements with other local courses for discounted rates etc so no need to hunt after a crown golf course for that one reason. You should choose a club on a lot more things than perks and freebies!

If you read what i said, "i visited the club and i was very impressed with the course etc"., it is local to me and the "added bonus" is that i can play many other courses!

Hi mate,

I have never had a problem booking a tee time at other crown courses, the only thing you need to remember is that a lot of courses do have lots of members(Cams has over 1200 I think , so some times a round can take a while.)

I think this is why you have the free goes at other courses.

Cheers

I am sorry, I did read your post but its the darn internet thing of not being able to stress words.

It was a more of a general "you" rather than a personal "you".

Again Im sorry for any offense
