Cross Golf Waterproofs

Cross is one of the 'great value lesser brands' imo!

Had/have a couple of their products, including (I believe) an earlier version of the top that was my go to top for a couple of years!

Sizing tends to be on the 'slim' side, because of the stretch nature of the fabric.

Not as good (imo) as the likes of Galvin Green or other Goretex gear for STAYING waterproof, but certainly kept me dry - and warm!! something Goretex alone doesn't do! - for those 2 (or maybe 3) years!

No-brainer indeed!

If its any help I had a pair of Cross "Bunker" pants a while back and they were one of the best pair of waterproof trousers I have ever had. Zippered, sturdy popper fastening, decent and enough belt loops around the top, very wind proof, adjsutable and zippered ankles.

Cheers, Fade

Somehow I have managed to find a bargain of a set of Galvin Green Paclite Trousers online for £50 posted. (Haggled the man down a touch) but an insane deal from what seems to be a reputable guy. So I'm not worried too much about the trousers now. Might have a look at some old reviews for jackets!
