Has anyone played Crieff before? We have decided it will be the course we play on our way up for our week in Scotland. 1 week to go! Can't wait!!

It's pretty nice, but nothing really special. I played there in Spring and would go back if I was in the area again. A nice run of holes at the top of the hill to finish. I got a good rate from teeoffttimes .co.uk. Very friendly members and some bargains in the pro shop (I got some Ecco shoes at a great price

We used to use it for customer days as it's pleasant and very forgiving. Not a course to knock your socks off though.

If you book on-line they do good last minute deals for specific tee times - if you are not too fussy.

We have played Blairgowrie plenty of times before, as we usually play it on the Friday coming back due to the fact they don't allow visitors on a weekend.

I think you'll find visitors can play Blairgowrie at the weekend after 2pm, perhaps earlier if you're playing the non-medal course.

Perhaps that's now the case, although looking at the website it's 14:45, which is far too late seeing as dusk is around 18.30. like I said though we've play Blairgowrie multiple times, and like to play somewhere different on the way up.

Does anyone know what the shower facilities are like at Crieff, I.e. do they have them for visitors and are they nice? Will give them a call tomorrow, but thought I'd ask on here in the interim

Is that how you clansmen do it?
Shower required because we are leaving Bracknell at around 3am, driving up to Crieff for a 11:30 tee, playing a round and then driving 2 hrs on after to Boat of Garten. As I'll be doing the Crieff to Boat leg I want to feel a little refreshed!
