Stuck in work so might aswell keep an eye on the score.

Currently 60-2 after 18 overs. I'm no cricket man but I presume this isn't a scoring pitch.

I heard something about a double jointed bowler for Sri Lanka. Apparently he can make the ball turn square or almost square!

At least you can say up to now all englands games have been.. well interesting :)

Pitch is very slow and and low and will only get moreso as the game progresses, anything over 200 should be a competitive score here although most of englands bowling not as suited to the conditions, Tremlett especially a worry.

The double jointed one is Muttiah Muralitharan, one of the all time greats although divides opinion with his action which a lot deem to be "illegal"

I think we'll do well to win from here, probably needs a big innings from Morgan to get us upto around 220, main thing in our favour is that despite this being a home game for SL they don't have a good record here, especially batting second

Certainly another interesting one. I thought england were quite good defending on a low scoring pitch. Im useless with cricket so may be way off.

been listening all morning

im thinking theyve given themselves a fair chance
seemed a tough wicket from what they were saying

really need a good performance in the field

i thought England were in with a shout when they took that first wicket ......oh wait

sawnny tweets
Well we didn't even come third in that one. Nevermind, still won't spoil an amazing winter. Best crowd all trip today

Nevermind? NEVERMIND?

Leave them alone, they're "tired". They have been "working" every fourth in sunshine. And it has caused "stress" in some team members

PLEEEEEEEEEASe

Its not the touring structure that needs looking at its the whole English game ....too many counties to many so called pros ....the odd win hear and there .... excitement then failure
