I have had some bad words to say about the DG shop in Cambridge as my experiences with them a year or so ago were not great. Anyway, on Saturday I took a trip over because I wanted to try a couple of Adams 3 woods and they were the only stockists I knew of. What a change. The place has been totally re-fitted, the staff were knowledgeable and the facilities were top rate. They never tried to sell me John Letters crap just set me up in a bay on the range and gave me unlimited balls to hit whilst bringing me a selection of clubs. Spent a good couple of hours hitting 3 woods and even then they were happy to let me walk away whilst I made a decision. They even has a teaching pro walking around the range offering tips and advice.

I have posted poor reviews of this store in the past but feel that I ought to post a correction as they really appear to have upped their game.

I agree entirely, it's a great store with a great new setup. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the place now has all the facilities to offer a service second to none in the area.

Funny enough I was there on saturday as well.

Amazing how quickly a store can undo the good work. Having decided to take the plunge with a GPS, I phoned them yesterday to see if they had any in. Was informed that they had 10 in and 6 were reserved, would I like one put aside until I could get over. Yes please I say. I duly pitch up this evening (40 mile round trip) to be told that the 10 in stock were actually on order and would not be in until the weekend and, in fact, they had no GPS in stock at all. Was a little miffed when I left empty handed to say the least.

I'd like to pass on my thanks to DG as well. Having been sorely disappointed some 4 months ago to take detour to one of the stores to discover they did have the special offer TM driver in stock, "oh,yes...but only in 8.5 x-stiff", I found them great recently with my irons purchase.....
As for GB72s comment, this type of thing happens a lot these days, it's a pity, and I sympathise.

Yes, they are. As you can see I was in there last night and it is £10 a dozen of 3 boxes for £25.00
