Was up in rainford earlier. I had a bit of time and with clubs in the car decided go hit the northwest national driving range.
Chip and putt first, I've never seen a putting green like it. The twists and turns in it made it more crazy golf than an actual putting green.
on to the range, always try to start out with wedges and work thru. Chips where either hitting their mark or going beyond. I'm doing well here. Full pw going 115-120, when it's never over 100. 9 irons going well over 130 mark, normally 120max. Thought sod this and went straight to the mini, 220 carry rolling out to 240 odd up a steep back. a good 20yrds more than Sunday best.
Now the matts are raised up but only a few feet, and it was a little windy but it was across.
hoping the yardage markers are not as Mickey Mouse as the putting green, and I've finally found something.
