Have been OK with cramp during the summer. Played yesterday and it was cold 10 degrees and ver wet for the first 1 hour.

Suffered I bed last night in the legs. Usually I is in different places.

Does anyone else suffer after a round and has anybody any good remedies ?

I do suffer with cramp now and again, it's normally after a physical day and then sitting still in the evening. The best remedy I use is deep heat, it stinks a bit but works well.

yes usually in the foot/toes during a round..........hydration and something salty can keep it at bay

Gatorade/Powerade - After the round should help prevent cramp.

I dont suffer so much with Golf, as I rarely break into a full on sweat. I suffered badly when I came to London to play GAA. The warmer climate ( compared to Northern ireland) meant I was sweating buckets during games. Then in the evenings I would be hit with cramp.

In the end, I always had to make sure I downed a powerade/Gatorade after the game and it stopped.

P.S if you get real bad cramp in your legs - place something cold under your toes will stop/release the cramp

I did suffer badly with it if I tensed my leg in bed after playing golf in the day. Sheer agony worst pain ever and the wife just laughs. Need to replace lost salts in the body I use a Electrolyte and stimulant sport drink. Drop one in a bottle of water before or after play and I haven't suffered from it since.i use the zero x treme tablets berry flavour doesn't taste too bad
