Coveted clubs...

It’s a long ol’ Friday afternoon where I am and despite numerous attempts to adjust my computer’s clock, it ain’t happening…

Coveted clubs. We’ve all done/do it, me on a frequent basis. When all the new gear comes out, I love reading the reviews, seeing the pro’s WITBs and basically ogling over the latest shiny shiny pics. So, thinking of those long coveted clubs, either now or in the past, what was your biggest lust? Did it/they make it into the bag?

For me, it was (kinda still is) the Callaway Razr XF irons. They’re mahoosive I know, but I love the look. Ever since they were released I’ve wanted a set, just to bash once if never again. Sadly it is unrequited love…. What’s yours?

At the moment I am regretting ditching my MP60's for the JPX850 irons. Feel as though my swing is back and can cope with more of a players club.

I have spent the last couple of weeks teasing myself pouring over the various Miura clubs along with the Hogan Fort Worth 15 irons, they look absolutely a thing of beauty.

when I was a youngster (30 years ago) I visited Lillywhites and saw a very shiny set of mizzy blades that I spent hours looking at.
I now have a set in my bag courtesy on flea bay

I loved the look of the Ping Ketsch putter that came out a couple of years ago, and was quickly discontinued.

They are back out now. I have one and say one in DG last week. They have so so many awards for best putter on test. Worth a play if your in the market for a mallet.

I am currently looking amorously at the Cobra Fly-Z+ and Ping G30 woods... All the reviews I've read for both clubs have been really good especially the Cobras.

Must have been there about the same time...

Seem to remember they had stunning Spurs and/or West Ham shirts.

Well that's my christmas present sorted then. Have had an Odyssey 2 ball for the last 15 years, and swore I'd never change.

But the Ketsch looks so pretty.............
