Coventry/Warwickshire Golf Courses

Hey Guys,

I'm going to be living down around Warwick/Coventry (probably close to Coventry uni) for 3 months in the Summer whilst on an internship, and will be looking for somewhere to play some golf! I stay in Glasgow, so have no idea of what there is around the area, or any of the courses, so need some advice.

Ideally I'd be looking to join a club for the time I'm there- preferably somewhere nice that has a practice area- so I can play competitions weekly/play in the evenings.

Where would you guys recommend in the area? I'm 20, so will come under a youth category at most clubs- am I likely to find anywhere that would be able to offer me a 3 or 6 month membership?

Lastly, naturally I don't want it to be too expensive, £3-400 max.

When you're down here next I'll take you around my course and show you around, we have good links with the university and some excellent deals covering the age bracket you fall in and possibly flexible membership options.

Cheers for that offer! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be down until mid June when I'm starting my internship, but it'd certainly be good to get a game whilst I'm down!

I'll drop the club an email and see what they can do in terms of pricing! I'm not working with the uni, I'd just be renting their halls (I think the company have some sort of agreement with them)
