Guys,

I'm heading to Edinburgh with 6 others for my brother in law's stag do, and being a bunch of keen golfers we thought we'd take the opportunity to have a knock when we get there, on the Friday whilst all still on best behaviour. Bearing in mind it's the May bank holiday weekend and bound to be as busy as an Edinburgh tourist trap bar fleecing chubby English boys with too much disposal, could anyone recommend a course that will cater for 7 guys, ranging from single figure handicappers with too much natural talent to myself, taking in a few guys with all the gear and no idea and some who no matter how hard they try, will never be as good as they want?

Ideally want something not too far out, with reasonable fees and a decent knock.

I've ruled out some municipal that has an old course on the grounds that the wind will ruffle my hair too much and i can't spend too long in the mirror on a boys weekend away...

Braid hills, a muni, slap in the middle of Edinburgh, spectacular views, a few easy holes, some alot more challenging, cheap, near, what more do you want?

I had my stag there and played Longniddrey, probably got the spelling wrong there but what a lovely course.

Great views over the estuary,a bit linksy one minute and parkland the next.

Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
