Course recommendations this week in Suffolk/Essex?

Annoyingly (for me) It's captains week at my club, and I completely forgot. And have organised two matches with friends one today, and one friday. Seeing as my club is out of action. Has anyone got any suggestions, that are reasonably priced, and decent? I could try and blag a free round at Essendon in Herts, but it seems too far to go!

Thorpeness is just a short way up the A12 from you. A great layout and I believe they accept 2 for 1 vouchers if you have them .

They accept green fees after 11.30am

Agree on Thorpness - James Braid design and one of my faves. I don't really know what your criteria for 'reasonably priced' is, but others to consider would be Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, Purdis Heath, Felixstowe Ferry, Stoke-by-Nayalnd.

Thanks for the recommendations of Thorpeness. What a lovely course! Something I will definitely play again in the future.

I'm keen to try Aldeburgh and on of the Stoke by Nayland courses too. I will be giving Purdis a miss however.
