This weekend the course CSS was 74 on Saturday and 75 on Sunday, the course is running very fast and there was barely a breath of wind which is very unusual for here, the Par for the course is 71

ours will be the same if the weather keeps like this Steve. Greens are rock hard at the moment and with the warm sunny days and rain at night we keep getting the rough is pretty thick, juts in time for the county champs and the King trophy which are both off the Blue.

Patrick our greens are rock hard you've to hit it miles short to get it to stop, we've not had rain in weeks here. 2 of my mates are playing in the Kings Trophy then Nairn Dunbar open the next day.

Steve tell them to bring plenty of balls;)

played Nairn Dunbar on sat, its in OK condition, though the greens were slow and going to seed. they should be ok by the King Weekend, they have a new head greenkeeper who likes them short and fast for comps.

Nairns greens are super at the moment so true and quick, a joy to putt on

One of the lads played Nairn Dunbar Open a few weeks back and said it was good, its a good weekend for them £50 for the 2 Opens is great value.

Thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow, Steve.

Ideal conditions for growing thick juicy rough just in time for the weekend. ;)
