Course Damage

I wanted to play 9 holes today due to having some free time to find my GC closed due to damage/debris clearing from last nights storm.

In the end I played 9 holes at another local course and came across a huge fallen tree which I thought was quite impressive to have been taken down by wind and was curious to see/hear what others may have come across today?

We lost a grey poplar by our 8th green and 9th tee which was quite a symbolic tree on the course. Apparently there are several others down and a few more damaged

Next to nothing on the course
Only played the back 9 today and no damage
The Guy in the shop said that the rest of the course was fine.
We got lucky - it wasn't as bad as it could have been here.

yep we dodged most of it too, lost one of the big conifers behind the 13th green our only real damage

One tree down on the 14th at my place but apart from that got quite lucky. Think that a lot of the country got it worse than us.

Bramley GC is closed until Wednesday due to debris and broken branches dotted around the course.

Is that the one that lost a limb last month and they were going to have taken down anyway?

Our course was closed yesterday as we had 5 or 6 trees down.

That's the one. Went of its own accord I think. This is what the club put on twitter -

behind the poplar an oak has gone, right of 11, left of 4, left of 12, right of 10 mainly large branches

Hoping that the lone tree down the left of our fourth hole might have gone. The number of times I have hit it must have weakened it.

I'm surprised there was so much damage, it didn't see that bad at mine, certainly not bad enough to take trees out
