I've just booked a cottage for a week in Dornoch next month, might take my clubs and have a couple of rounds with HID. Never played Dornoch so that will be first choice if I decide to play.

For those that have played in the area, what order would you rate Golspie, Tain and Brora in? Also, any other courses to consider in the area? HID isn't a member so doesn't have an official handicap so need to bear that in mind.

Thanks all.

The 3 you mention are good but Royal Dornoch. Wow, wow wow! Absolute class and a price to pay. I played in a Seniors last month and loved it. Perfect greens but please take plenty o balls

Rosemarkie is a difficult course to play as you are always distracted by those pesky dolphins.
You would have thought the club committee would have done something to get rid of them.
