m going to experiment with an old Ping B60 I no longer use and fit counterbalance weight and new grip. This is just for fun and my own amusenent.
Has anyone done this?
If so,any tips on what might be a reasonable weight to start for this type of putter?
Thanks in advance for any input.

Yes, I have done this with a cut down belly putter. Used a steel carriage bolt with the head filed down to the outside diameter of the shaft and glued into position as the counter weight, which weighed about 50 grams. Then fitted a Super Stroke grip. Not sure that it was a great success because it feels a bit heavy and clumsy.
