Morning all
the eagled eyed of you may have seen that have joined up with Benross again in 2015 and this year one of the new concepts is to find a grass roots golfer to be the face of the brand
Swinger and RickG have experienced what the Benross brand is like up close and personal at the last two Be Our Tour Pro finals at West Hill and this is another interesting idea from the guys at Benross and really underlines their USP of everything being about the grass roots golfer
The person who is selected will win some great prizes and experiences and there are some good runners up prizes too
To find out how to get involved see the story

Would be great to see a forumer be selected for this

I was going to enter but when I saw that they were asking for a photo I knew I wouldn't stand a chance.

("This old fart plays Benross", not exactly going to help their sales!)

Hi mike ,
How do non facebook users enter?

Join Facebook... ;) I guess it's part of the marketing campaign. If I'm a Facebook user and I play golf the liklihood is I will have friends who golf who will then see I have liked it so will at least view it if not like it themselves.

Due to the nature of the prize (and the club golfers inability to remain in the present) they'll then start finding out more info about the range and for a relatively small spend the company gets great exposure. If you ask me it's marketing genius!!!!

I wonder if I can also enter by favouriting a tweet? :)

Edit: yep just checked you can only enter via Facebook

Have to mirror a few other comments, fat, forty and fell out the ugly tree hitting too many branches on the way down. Not ideal for an ad campaign

Who knows, maybe they are looking for a "Lived In" face

also depends where they are pitching their Ad campaign, Young/ old/ average golfer

your average golfer is probably around 50-55, bald, glasses, 19 handicap, fugly .................errr thats me :)

I love such an opportunity - where you can get some sticks and some training. Reminds me of the Ping 'play your best' campaign

But I am more likely to be part of the next Ryder cup than get in.. Fat, 40, non-white, cack handed, never played Benross, dont know them either, radio-faced, blah blah blah..

I could not answer some questions either..

How often do you play/practice? >> When allowed by HID and KID. Havent touched a club in about 6 weeks..

What does the Benross brand mean to you? >> I have seen the advts and chatter on the forum, but have never really looked into them. I am sure they are good.

What would you bring to Benross if you were the face of the brand? >> Again, cant comment if you dont know what they stand for..

If they wanted a model they'd have hired a model.

My face was once used for an advertising campaign I knew nothing about. Seriously! This would be an altogether better experience I'm sure :)
