Could this possibly work?

Hi everyone!
I just came across this website accidentally which I thought would raise some interest. It sells a set of clubs which all have the same length and lie.
I won't mention their name, but their claims go like this;

With a set of xxxx clubs you need to learn only one swing with only one set-up and only one ball position.
* Same club length throughout your set.
* Same swing weight throughout your set.
* Same moment of inertia throughout your set.
* Same shaft flex throughout your set.

As someone who has trouble with the longer irons and fairway woods, do you think this set might just help?

To anyone out there associated with Sherfield Oaks, I would just like to say thanks for a great game last Saturday. Enjoyed the course (Wellington), the clubhouse and everyone we met! :)

Why won't you mention the name? Can't say I have heard of this approach but I don't believe it would work. Having a sand wedge with the same length shaft as a 4 iron...no thanks.

This idea is not new. I had a pal who played with a set of Browning clubs in the late 80's that were the same length each club. He was a rubbish golfer!

I recall Tiger Shark clubs were all set to 7 iron length but weighted differently to allow the clubs to hit further/shorter. I saw a few people play these years ago.

That is the worst pile of sales tosh I've ever read.
Same moment of inertia....give me a bucket.... :D

It's quite simple. To make all the clubs the same length would mean playing (one assumes) with a short driver and long wedge. If you make a wedge longer than normal, but adjust the loft to "achieve" the correct distance for a wedge....the ball is going to go sky high and be totally uncontrollable. Conversely, the loft on the driver will need to be so low that no normal player will be able to hit it.

100% rubbish. The physics don't add up. No way, Jose, never this side of the Neptune.

Anyone falling for this deserves to be parted from their cash.

A partial set or 5 club special....maybe. A full set that offers clubs for all distances and with a sensible flight....no chance.

I quite like the idea in basic theory. I for one can not hit a green with a full wedge to save my life which frustrates the living daylights out of me!
If you think about the rounds where you hit your short irons great but your long game goes to pot and vice versa...
...this could be the answer?
That said I wont be ordering a set tonight!
