Cottrell Park, Cardiff

Got my brothers wedding in April and the hotel we're staying at is near Cottrell Park golf club in Cardiff.

Anyone on here ever played it? It says on the website that there's two 18 hole courses. Anyone know which one is the better one to play?

I've played it but it was a while ago, all other courses were closed and it was open, stood up to the downpour really well.
If I recall I played the Mackintosh and It was decent, the greens if I recall were very good.
That's all I remember sorry.

There's 2 courses the Mackintosh and the Button Gwinnet. We had a society weekend down there a few years back, courses were both in decent shape and the greens were good as I recall. Friendly clubhouse as well. Remember one numbskull who suffered from Hay Fever driving his buggy into the rough, two holes later he couldn't see to drive it let alone hit a golf ball.
