Been looking at reviews and honestly speaking if all of the kit was optimised it would not really be significantly different.
It seems, longer shafts, lighter shafts and aero efficiency are the only bits up for manipulation. All of which offer very little gains.
What would actually be helpful going forward would be a club face map showing how the level COR degrades.
I have now diverted my attention to fairway woods, it would be interesting to see if these hit COR regs (I am sure they do) and the strategies employed to squeeze the extra yardage out.

will the skill come back in the game if the accurate hitters had smaller driver heads .. 250cc could generate more distance due to aero drag?
Has anyone come to the same conclusion, just update when your bored and fancy a change?

If it's not a driving club (driver) it doesn't have the same COR rules.

Which is why some people choose to use a '3 wood', and why some tour players get through their purpose built 3 wood heads (damage) faster than driver ones (allegedly).

You won't find published data on these individual/personal spec clubs
