Cooling Towel

Anyone have or had one of these?

They sound ideal but like many things, I become sceptical of what they truly do.

Under the cold water tap, wring them out and they stay cold so you can wipe or pat yourself down with them throughout your round keeping you cool.

Any views or experience?

Just back after nine holes and if they work would have been a godsend. Hot and sticky doesn't come into it today......Off for a good hot curry and a few beers now to cool off.

Used to do it with an ordinary golf towel years ago and I found it worked quite well.

I just use a damp flannel seems to work

I have an Aussie Chiller hat.

You soak it and top up with cold water as required. Stops you sweating anywhere near what you would without it, keeps you cool and also the sun of your ears, neck and face.

I got mine in Vegas but they have them on Amazon and EBay etc.

I brought mine out for the first time this year after really struggling. Made a massive difference IMO. Although got a few comments from the lads. But that doesn't bother me tbh.

Alex's idea of a water spray worked wonders on wednesday...

It's actually for cleaning his clubs(Tart) but sprayed on the face - Oh boy, cooling doesn't cover it!
