Apologies for starting another thread, but this will get lost in the main one...
Cooden have asked me to forward our menu choice on to them as soon as possible for the evening meal.
We have coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, with a brunch lunch of ham, egg and chips.
We have a two course evening meal (served from 7.30pm) and the choices we have are either
STARTERS
HOME MADE SOUP
MELON
PRAWN COCKTAIL
PATE & TOAST
MAIN COURSES
ROAST PORK WITH APPLE SAUCE
ROAST BEEF (£1.50 SURCHARGE PER HEAD)
ROAST SADDLE OF LAMB
STEAK & MUSHROOM PIE
DESSERTS
SWEETS IN SEASON
CHEESE & BISCUITS
As is usual for this type of event, we are limited to all having the same thing, so I will have to go with the majority.
Also, as it it two courses I will need to know whether you would prefer a starter and main or a main and sweet (my personal choice)....
Just a word of warning.
Brunch will be served in the dining room from 1.30pm where casual (what you played in basically) dress is permitted, ALTHOUGH SHORTS ARE NOT ALLOWED PAUL!!
In the evening, dinner will again be served in the dining room but jacket and tie will be required.
I apologise for this but rules is rules. Please don't let this put you off, as it promises to be a great day. It's a superb course and I know that you are all going to enjoy it.
Please could you let me know your preferred menu choice as soon as possible please, but as I've said above, I will have to go with the majority so you may not end up getting what you personally requested!
