Hi all..
Love the forum, been reading for a while now and love the banter and the knowledge ive gained from you all Thanks!
Ive got a quick question and was wondering what you would do in the same or similar situation. ...
Managed to get out in the sun today all going wellish until on the 18th tee I hooked my drive onto the next fairway, as I walked over I could see this old chap with his dog walking back to his bag which was 20 yards in front of him, he quickly played his shot then off he went... Im pretty sure he picked up my ball, which left me with a sour taste as I lost hole, fuming I was still am a little as I treated myself to a new pack of pro v1x's the day before (first time ever) and it was my last one :ooo:

Thanks. ... I was tempted to confront him but just couldn't believe the cheek, but like you say unless I searched him I hadn't any proof. Oh well what goes around comes around I guess.

welcome on board , it happens im afraid , & it will happen again , dont mind loosing a ball , that's bad golf, but when someone picks mine up AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgh .. frustrating ,but like homer says unless you see it happening ..

enjoy the forum , tell us all a bit about your golf , where you play etc

Thanks. ... Only joined my first club last summer Yelverton golf club, and very happy I am, it's a fantastic club and course, would recommend a round or two if you get a the opportunity.

Yup pretty much

It's only a golf ball at the end of the day - not worth getting worked up

Welcome to,the forum

Welcome.

Is it normal for someone to take their dog with them when they are playing? I've seen many dog walkers on the course but never seen any one playing a round and walking their dog.
