Good riddance if you ask me. Whether he cheated knowingly or not he displayed a lack of class and respect for cycling's unwritten code of conduct. Shame for Andy Schleck as "winning" 2 years after the event (assuming that's what they decide) just won't quite have the same taste...

Talking of taste - off to scoff my fat-burning muscle-building steak...
 
So contador is a cheat. No surprise there then.

Sadly, the schleck twins are known as the chemical brothers, so I'm guessing it is only a matter of time....

I struggle a bit with the doping in cycling mainly because it seems a vicious circle when the races become more and more demanding and then they wonder why cyclists try to get an "edge" or in many cases simply survive and make a living out of their sport. It's cheating and it's wrong I know but I can see why so many give in to the dark side.

Contador irritated me more with his arrogance and lack of respect for fellow riders and as I said in the OP the unwritten code of the sport. To not wait for Andy when he had a mechanical was out of order.

In my eyes no-one will ever come close to Lance who remains my sporting hero bar none.

I was very disappointed with contador when he dropped schleck with his mechanical too. You just don't do this in cycling. Never did like him.

Like many, I still really really want to believe that lance was clean.

Not many have been though. The sport has been riddled with it for years, and there is no sign of it stopping any time soon.

I do believe he was clean and his picture was first and I prefer it :o

I also like this one from one of my other top sports...

Your not trying to be the next Jodie Marsh are you Amanda?
I watched that tour every day,i now feel cheated.
I believe Lance was clean.
Still a great sporting spectacle,and now even better with the Brits pushing for honours.

I had to google her and yuk - I wish I hadn't! No body building here although I am on schedule for 100 press ups but that aint enough for the fairer sex to gain too much bulk.

I love Le Tour although don't watch it avidly since Lance retired. Still makes amazing viewing though and as I'm not keen on Cadel Evans I was cheering for Andy even more so last year.

Richart - reckon she's a double A cup so no airbush required :whistle: Actually just looked again and her hair is covering the missing item...
