Congrats to the 2013 Masters winner

Strange... I didn't notice him getting boo'ed when he sunk the final putt with 'that' putter, it seemed that there was quite a lot of CHEERING and HAPPINESS

He's a worthy winner..... and Cabrera was a class act.

Deserved winner who never put a foot wrong.

Great class and quality when required from Cabrera. Mention to Jason Day for his class to when he saw Scott walk off the 18th instead of shying away he sought out Scott & congratulated him in holing the birdie putt.

+1

Brilliant finish. Seemed to be a bit dull even around Amen Corner but then really came to life over the last few holes.

After watching the wheels come off at the Open last year it was great to see Scott come through that and show real character to win it. Cabrera was fantastic too. Great no nonsense approach even under all the pressure.

A great finish and my worries that the issues around Tiger's drop/DQ might take the gloss of the climax were unfounded.

Well done Adam some fantastic golf in the play off from both players.
Shame about the caddie and shame about the putter.

Brilliant end to the Masters. Was very pleased for Scott - would have been equally pleased for Cabrera. Unfortunate +1 from me on caddie and putter - but not letting that take away from brilliant performance by Scott. Well done Aussie.

Fantastic finish well played to Adam Scott,
Putter is not an issue it's legal and works for him so fair play at the end of the day what we all want is to find a way for getting the ball in the hole.
No time for his caddy and thought they'd nearly dropped another blooper on 18 in regulation play with driver and ball trundling toward bunker!

Either player would've been a worthy winner... Event was lacking in atmosphere at end... Most likely because the 'patrons' were having to hang onto their brollies due to the foul weather...

Hate congratulating upsidedowners but well played Adam Scott...

superb golf under immense pressure, delighted Adam Scott won, he deserves it.

who cares about the long stick, saw plenty of missed putts with it also. Is that not now all the majors won with a long putter?

Fantastic end to what had promised to be a exciting day with early birdies and eagles but then didn't really get going till the last half hour or so - Stunning putt from Scotty on the last and for Carbrera to follow up with that approach didn't want either to lose!

Fantastic sportsmanship from Angel on the 74th green - Scott goes for the handshake but instead Angel goes in for what I can only assume was a monumentally big bear hug!

I care. Slightly took the shine off it for me to see the winner with a putter that is jammed into his collarbone and used as a pendulum. Not that it will matter for too much longer as thankfully, the anchoring of these clubs will soon be against the rules and they will start to wane in popularity.

It was nice to see both players in the playoff manage to avoid launching big gobs of spittle around the place I thought.

And a real shame that Tiger found the trees off the tee a few too many times on the front 9. Unfortunate that there were so many cameras around as it would have been a much better spectacle if Woods' ball could have been removed by an Augusta official (off camera) from the bad lies and placed in the fairway or at least the semi rough with a clear line to the flag. This would have created a much better event in my view and the sponsors would have been much happier too. Perhaps this could be trialled next year? I hope so.

That aside, lovely to watch and what an absolute gent Cabrera is. Adam Scott too - not bad for an Aussie. Lovely golf shots under great pressure, played in an excellent spirit. Golf at it's best and their conduct went some way to remove the tarnish that the Woods episode created at this years event.
