Bought a "Tour Edge Bazooka HT Max-D" 10.5* to replace my last driver which gave up the ghost on me a few weeks back, now apparently it's 1* closed can anybody tell me what 1* closed means and what effect it's liable to have on my tee shots !...

Many thanks in advance !...

Sits 1 degree closed.

This will either help you stop leaving the face open as much as you chop across the ball if you are a slicer. Or if you hook the ball this closed face can cause you to hook even more.

I thought bias clubs had weight in either the heel or the toe rather than simply opening and closing the face.

Thanks chaps, the problem I've got with the driver is "Massive fade" like 25+ yds when I first got it although it's getting better the more I use it, the other driver I had was a "Crews Tourlink 460-D" in standard trim, 10.5* which I could hit as straight as an arrow all day long, you can imagine the horrified look on my face when I first hit the "Bazooka" and it sailed clean across the opposing fairway and headed off into the local farmers field  (luckily it was very early morning and no one else was about) and I've been having trouble with it ever since !...

So more work needed on my behalf then, that or another driver if you know what I mean ;) !...
