I posted a couple of weeks ago that I was having a crisis of confidence in my long game and how people got over it when they had low confidence.
The thread got a fair few reply's and I took away from it that I didnt go through a pre-shot routine any more.
So after a couple of practice sessions on the course I was feeling much more confident, I even hit EVERY fairway in a 12 hole practice round! I feel very confident from the tee now, I just try and visualise the shot and hit it, more often than not it seems to work!
I played in the horrible conditions on saturday and shot a PB at my new course which got me another cut this year, I've gone from 19.0 - 14.7 now this year so far, pretty chuffed :D

I'm certain I'll have spells again of low confidence, it seems to be my way, but I'm trying to keep the same routine and keep my head quiet as much as possible!!!

I've always been a streaky player and have found that when I'm on a good streak confidence is high and it breeds better scores. I'm like you and can (use) be hard on myself. I'm trying hard to be a glass half full Homer this year and even when I hack it round look for the positives and not dwell on the negatives. That's an impressive drop so far. Keep it going

Great work!!! Keep it up

Ive only managed 2 qc's this year so far hence a 6am prework tee off tomorro in our first midweek comp
