Conceited?

Hello, as I was out playing my usual few rounds of golf this morning i couldn't help but notice a passer-by on the public footpath besides me walk past and mutter under his breath "conceited old goons". I found this offensive. We're not conceited are we?

1st welcome to the forum , 2nd , move on , If I worried about what everyone I don't know said about me I get into a lot of arguments , there are a few heated debates on here but the mods then cut in and we get cut off

How did you conclude that , I read the daily man coz mum buys it and I look at the Sun , never bought a paper in my working days as the were always a lot left behind

More likely some petty jealousy. Passer by probably facing the trip to the supermarket with the other half. That or their own course is waterlogged. I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest. Welcome along btw
