Competition sheet for Sunday... no playing partner(s)

I signed up for the monthly medal, last week. Put my name in a time slot and then thought nothing of it, apart from double check before the weekend. Well I double checked it and all the slots have been taken up except the 2 empty spaces next to my name....
They either all wanted to play with their chums, or I have been black balled ..:confused: Will I get a marker or will they separate up a threesome and make one join up with me (could lead to a hissy fit ..)

Chill out there is still Friday and Saturday for the late rush! If you know the group in front and the group behind cancel it may be you :p
 
At our club the Pro's will usually do their best to ensure members are found opponents before the event.
Has it happened to you before? :o
 
All our medals are draws which suits me as I'm a full on loner. You can't mark your own card so the pro will have to do something so I wouldn't worry.

Nope ... I am quite a nice guy, if I do say so myself :o (I have more than 10 F'book friends, and people do talk to me at playgroup, I would say work but I don't at the moment)

This is the way it should be ... IMO its a test, how do you not know these "mates" are not fixing their cards... (oh sorry I am a bit paranoid but nothing serious :) )
 
This has happened to me more than once at my soon to be old club. No medals are drawn, they all play with there friends week in week out. Same 3 ball all season. No wonder some of the scores raise eyebrows.
 
Our Saturday medals are all drawn which makes things much easier. You choose your time slot and are paired up accordingly, makes life easier.

I would imagine the Pro will sort something out for you though
 
Medals are always play with your mates at our place, which suits me, but we usually have a 3rd pick up the last spot. Last time out it was a spotty teenager who showed us how to play! We also have a number of drawn comps a too.
 
Regularly happens at our place , one of us would normaly just drop into 2 x 2balls with them or the woman in the shop will ask a member she knows well enough to play with the single ,
 
It's "recommended" that us ladies only go out with the same person twice. Not the same for the men though which surprises me.
