Simple question folks. How much due you pay for your competition Fees? (Including 2s)

Just wondering if there's much variation across the country. Mine are £5.

£3.50 for us including 2's! Wonder if there is s variation in the average prize money?!? Ours ranges from £40-£60 depending on the comp....

£3 comp £1 2's

For a 2 you automatically get a sleeve of pro V1's or the money back on your account. I know most weeks on the Hotchkin its a complete loss as there are quite a few. The Bracken however

My first club was quite expensive, £4!

This included the 2s sweep of course.

Bigger competitions attracted about £7

My most recent club was £2.

What percentage of the entry fees goes to prizes and do you know /Agee where the rest goes ?

Previously, I believe of the £2 entry/sweep money
£1.50 went to the club
50p from each entry went to pot to be paid out as winnings

Now our club just pays £40 winner, £20 runner up.....from the £2 entry

But this takes away the option to not enter the sweep, ie....not play for winnings
I know some lads that prefer the system at my old club
£1 entry
£1 sweep (optional)
£1 2's sweep (optional)
Where some would pay entry, play for handicap adjustments
But have their own sweep instead of paying into a pot they most likely couldn't win, when the usual suspects strike again

Blimey, there are some expensive comps here, particularly when you think you have already paid your membership fees and this is extra cash.

£1.50 entrance
£1.50 optional 2's club, winnnings held in the pro-shop to be spent there
